This is the HX420, which is the VHF High band 138 - 174Mhz version of the HX400 series.
Half the size of most of its competion, the HX420 is one of the smallest radios in Europe. Weighing just 274g the HX420 is small enough to slip into any pocket.
The HX420 delivers a full 5 Watts of RF. This versatile model allows you to use different power levels per channel to a minimum of 1 Watt, allowing longer battery life.
The HX420 also has a higher audio utput than radios twice its size - ideal for noisy environments.
All buttons are programmable to give instance access to any of the HX420's advanced features
VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) including Auto VOX which will set the VOX threshold depending on the ambient background noise level.
Built in Voice Scrambler for increased privacy.
