INTEK SMA-505 SMA ANTENNA ADAPTOR FOR INTEK MT5050

As picture, this is a genuine INTEK SMA-505 SMA antenna adaptor for the Intek MT-5050.

Converting the radio using this adaptor will put the radio outside the PMR-446 licence free conditions as using this adaptor and one of the high performance INTEK SMA antennas (also in stock) will improve performance well beyond usage conditions set for this band. It is for this reason that this adaptor should only be fitted to the radio for use by a licenced radio amateur or for use outside the EU.

As you can see in the picture the adaptor has the main centre conductor wire and the earth tag, both of these need to be soldered to the PCB of the radio once the original antenna has been removed, so this should only be performed by a competent electrician.
